A name or place entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its response. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.

Lucas County material remains with the sheriff, District Court, Iowa DCI, and other official custodians, including the Iowa Sex Offender Registry for registry data. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not turned into a consumer report or a third-party criminal file.

Links lead to government offices, court systems, agencies, and independent services. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's privacy policy applies. Check those terms before providing personal details.
Some advertising providers may use activity across websites to select ads. That processing occurs on the provider's systems.
